This microcassette recorder offers three hours of continuous recording (using a 90 minute microcassette). The tape automatically reverses when it reaches the end of each side during recording and playback. There is no need to manually remove the cassette and turn it over, making it ideal for recording those lengthy conversations. Recording begins automatically at the sound of a voice and stops the moment the voice does. This function frees your hands and reduces playback time. Features include fast play, cue function, review function, quick review, dual tape speed (2.4 cm/sec., 1.2 cm/sec), tape counter, auto shut off, built-in microphone, external mic jack (2.5mm), built-in speaker, earphone jack and power jack. Can also be used with the Tele Recorder Interface for VOX for recording your telephone conversations. Powered by 2 AA batteries (not included). This Panasonic tape recorder is voice activated (VOX) which means it only records when sounds are present. It provides long-term recording and playback with superb clarity. This recorder has been modified to record up to 12 hours (6 per side). When extra sensitivity is needed, the Super Sensitive Wired Microphone may be used.
